Küsnacht Scenery Walk #1

One of my favourite walks through the “Küsnachter Tobel”

) and Itschnach bypassing some large villas with an interesting architecture and a spectacular view of the Alps.
Küsnachter Tobel (literally: Küsnacht gorge) is a small river canyon respective gorge on the southwestern slope of the Pfannenstiel mountain in the canton of Zürich in Switzerland.

- Duration: 60 - 75 minutes
- Ascent: 161 m

How to get there
- Take Bus 912 from Zuerich-Bellevue to Itschnach-Rebweg (around a 19 minutes trip).
- Online Schedule. Bus will leave all 30 or 15 minutes.

Rockfall 2014
In April 2014, a rock fall of a 250 tons stone took place. The six-meter-high Nagelfluh-Brocken came to a halt near the Dorfbach practically on the footpath. Nobody got hurt.

In the last quarter of the round trip you will get a gorgeous view of the Swiss Alps (if the weather condition permits), with the Zurich See lake in front.
